Our Style, Photo Editing

 

We conduct the shoot and edit the photos according to our (artistic) style, standards, insights, and technological capabilities. You can see exactly what that entails in our portfolio. By choosing a photo session with us, you agree to this approach. This enables us to create beautiful and affordable shoots. Moreover, this is standard among most photographers. After all, a photographer is an artist. When you commission an artist, you grant them artistic and creative freedom—you allow your photographer their style.

 

If you want personal, individual adjustments to the edited photos, we are willing to accommodate that, unlike other photographers. However, because this involves extra work, additional costs are associated. These will be charged based on the additional time and effort required.

 

 

Code of Conduct

 

Because the collaboration between the photographer and the client is very close and personal, we apply a number of specific behavioral rules:

 

• We strongly value a positive, professional atmosphere in the studio where people treat each other with respect. This ensures that the stay in the studio is a pleasant experience for everyone and is a prerequisite for a successful photo session.

 

• If a client is disrespectful and ruins the atmosphere, we will terminate the photo session and collaboration with the client prematurely, without compensation. In cases of aggression, theft, etc., we will immediately file a report with the police and take legal action.

 

• The client must always follow the instructions of our staff.

 

 

Be on time! Otherwise, your shoot will be definitively canceled. The deposit will not be refunded.

 

*Why?* We need time for your shoot, its preparation, the completion, etc. Delay makes a good, professional shoot impossible and leads to great disappointments. Just be on time!

 

 

Booking, Changes, and Cancellation

 

• To book your shoot, we require a non-refundable deposit. You will pay the remaining balance in the studio after the shoot.

 

• You can postpone your shoot only once, provided you notify us at least 14 days before the scheduled date. Postponements requested less than 14 days before the scheduled date are not possible.

 

• A Maternity or Newborn shoot can be postponed once, regardless of how much notice is given before the scheduled date.

 

• Please only reschedule your shoot if it is absolutely necessary. Rescheduling without a valid reason is discouraged, as it is not easy for us to accommodate schedule changes.

• If you cancel your shoot entirely, regardless of how long before the scheduled date, your deposit will be fully forfeited. This applies to all types of photo sessions.

 

 

Makeup & Hairstyling

 

We can provide professional makeup and/or hairstyling at a very competitive price. Please ask us about this. If you choose to do your own makeup and/or hairstyling, please do so at home before visiting our studio.

 

 

Communicating Changes

 

If you want to expand your chosen package or add additional services like makeup or hairstyling, please let us know as soon as possible. We will accommodate your request if our schedule allows.

If you wish to downgrade to a smaller package than the one you originally chose, or if you want to cancel additional services (like makeup), please inform us at least 14 days before the scheduled date of your shoot. Changes communicated later will not be processed, and the original package and additional services will remain in effect.

 

 

Number of Participants in the Shoot

 

The number of participants in the shoot must be proportionate to the chosen package. Fotoshoot Rotterdam reserves the right to reduce the number of participants at any time.

 

 

Delivery of Photos

 

The photos will be provided to you digitally in high resolution, without a logo. Please note that the photos are not printed.

 

Your edited photos will be delivered digitally within three weeks after you have selected them for editing.

 

We will keep your photos for one month. After that period, your photos will be permanently deleted from our system.

 

 

Express Service

 

Our studio offers an express service at an additional cost. With this service, your edited photos will be delivered within three working days after you have selected them for editing.

 

 

Unedited Photos

 

We do not provide unedited or remaining photos from your shoot. However, you can purchase all the photos from your shoot at very attractive prices. These photos are slightly edited and are perfect for use in an album, on your website, or on social media. Please ask us about the possibilities.

 

Please download your photos as soon as possible after receipt.

 

 

Gift Voucher

 

Our gift vouchers are not exchangeable or refundable for cash or any other form of financial compensation.

 

Force Majeure

 

In the event of force majeure—an occurrence beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, photographer illness, power outage, etc.)—we reserve the right to fulfill the agreed-upon services unless it is completely impossible within a reasonable timeframe. This means that all obligations from both parties (the client and Fotoshoot Rotterdam) remain fully in effect.

 

 

Dissatisfied with Photoshoot Rotterdam?

 

If, despite our efforts, you are dissatisfied with our services, please let us know as soon as possible. We will try to resolve your complaint to the best of our ability.

 

 

Damage to Reputation

 

 

We greatly value your feedback. However, we do not accept negative statements or reviews that do not reflect the actual situation and are intended to damage our reputation, which constitutes defamation. If you attempt to harm our reputation on social media, Google, or other platforms, we will file a report and take legal action.
